Virtual line for the Dreisbach/Anderson Student Success Center

If you've already applied to Greenville Technical College and completed your FAFSA, but you still have questions or need help, you may need to speak with someone in the Dreisbach/Anderson Student Success Center. But you no longer have to wait in line to do it - you can enter the Virtual Line for:

Admissions
Financial Aid
Right Start Advising
Testing Center
Veterans Financial Aid Assistance
Continuing Ed/Non-credit Registration

WHAT IS A VIRTUAL LINE?

The virtual line allows students to reserve a spot via the internet or text without physically lining up in front of a location.

Once you enter your information, you will receive:

An estimated time to be seen
An opportunity to ask for more time if this estimation does not work with your schedule
An update when you are approximately 15 minutes away from being seen
Control of your day, so you can do the things you need and address your financial aid or admissions issues

WHAT OPTIONS DO I HAVE WITH THE VIRTUAL LINE?

Do you have documents to drop off?
If you have all the requested documents, you will click the option to enter the Submit queue. Make sure your documents are complete.
Do you need to see a Financial Aid Officer for questions about your financial aid, including loans and scholarships or the requested supporting documentation listed in your MIL?
Click the option to enter our Financial Aid queue.
- Make sure you bring a valid photo ID - driver's license or student ID. You cannot see a Financial Aid Officer without a valid ID.
Do you need to see an Enrollment Specialist?
Click the option to enter the Enrollment Specialist queue. Make sure your application and all documents are complete before signing in to the queue.

The virtual line is not a line for advising or the Bursar's Office.

HOW TO ENTER A VIRTUAL LINE

Click the virtual line button above, then click Save-a-Spot Virtual Line to begin.

Select the service you want (see the types listed above). In the list, you’ll see the expected wait time as well as the number of people ahead of you in line.
Next, you will be prompted to enter your name and your cell phone number. (Note: If you do not have a cell phone, we can assist you at the front desk or you can enter the virtual line at the computers in the lobby.)
Once you have entered a line you will receive a text with an estimated time to be seen
- You will also have the an opportunity to ask for more time if this estimation does not work with your schedule by texting “M”.
- You can select a specific amount of extra time by adding the additional minutes after the "M." For example, a text of “M20” moves you back 20 minutes.
