To achieve benefits of the Managed Print System (MPS) individual desktop printers are no longer purchased or supported on campus. Employees may retain an individual desktop printer if it is approved through the MPS Solution Exception Form. Areas for considerations include:
Bringing personally owned printers on campus is not allowed.
All non-Sharp MFP’s and non-program approved printers will be phased out. Printers to be phased out will not be repaired or replaced using GTC funds, personnel or technology. Printers scheduled for phase-out include all non-networked desktop printers. See below for phase-out schedule.
